Hercules Candy: A Sweet Treat Haven in East Syracuse, NY

I placed an order on a whim in January just to sample a few things. My order included strawberry cheesecake bark, worms and dirt bark, creme drops, and assorted chocolate cremes. Just the chocolate on its own is easily the best I've ever tasted, and as a whole everything was just absolutely delicious. But I want to talk about the creme drops. When I was little, my granny always had them especially around Christmastime. They were my favorite sweets! Over the years the storebought ones have become inedible, but when I ate one of the ones I got from Hercules Candy I was taken right back to my granny's kitchen. I don't mean to sound dramatic but it made me quite emotional, the association is so strong. My granny has been gone for almost 20 years, so to be able to experience part of my childhood again was such a blessing. I placed another order for some other samplings and this time got a big bag of creme drops!

I have been wanting to visit this store for years was finally able to go and was not disappointed. The staff was very kind and was able to answer any questions and were very apologetic for missing some items since we went right after Valentine’s Day. The chocolate is amazing it is so smooth and rich we got a mix of milk and dark chocolate items all great. We also got some hard candy and it’s worth it as well sweet and very flavorful. Will be going back next time we are in Syracuse.

Too much to say. But, this family run business has the best customer service. I'm in California, and have ordered from Hercules twice. Both times, Terry and Cara have ensured my orders were economical. They helped me figure out the best cost effective shipping that would still keep the order from melting. The treats arrived in perfect condition and they taste great. Thank you, Hercules Candy Company, for being one of very few companies that cares about their customers.

Love the very cherry creams I should have ordered 2 the chocolate is so good then you hit the cream oh then cherry pieces. Yum I bought as a gift and she left me eat 1. Ugh I didn’t order any. Lesson learned! 100% great candy! Was cold I mean it is February lol. Just placed a chocolate potatoe chip order! Only 1 ugh I’m already thinking I need more ! Do yourself a favor buy 2 !! Yummmmm Packing was great really no shake lol I tried it! lol counting the days for more!

Just wow! First and foremost, customer service here is absolutely incredible. My wife and I chased an out of stock product for the better part of two months and after some back and forth, we were able to make it happen! Quality is also top notch. You can tell at first bite that only the best ingredients are being used and nothing tastes processed or artificially influenced. Just an amazing job by some amazing people that must love their craft. Excellent job again and thank you for making some big magic happen in our little lives.

Nice to meet the owner Steve and his Staff. The Milk Chocolate Sponge and White Chocolate Fruity Pebbles Bark were very good. A must stop when you are in Syracuse.

The candy is wonderful, tasty and creative. The customer service is very good, looking out for weather making the chocolate melt. Packaging is great, feels like it is lovingly packed to make it safely to its destination. They also ship quickly. I have ordered several times in 3 months because everyone loves it so much. I got Taste of Fall, Super Sour, and Tie dye hard candy, all were excellent. My mom loved the pecan brittle and coconut brittle I gave her for her birthday. The toasted coconut marshmallow bark was amazing.
